rulideRulide drug is prescribed for the treatment of infections of the urinary tract, respiratory tract and soft tissues.

Rulide has to be taken with food to avoid any stomach upset. Care should be taken not to crush, brake or chew Rulide; swallow the drug whole. You should also avoid grape fruit and grape fruit juice when taking the drug. The whole course of the medication has to be taken for getting rid of the infection completely.

Before your doctor prescribes Rulide, tell him about all your present and past health history. Tell your doctor if you have stomach/intestinal infections, heart problems, kidney or liver problems and myasthenia gravis.

Pregnant women and breast-feeding mothers should have to take Riulide with caution. Better discuss with your doctor about the side effects and benefits of taking the drug during pregnancy and breast-feeding.

If you are on any other medication, tell your doctor, as certain medicines are known to interact with Ruilde. When taking the drug, if you develop stomach pain, diarrhea or bloody stools, you have to immediately tell your doctor, as these could be signs of severe side effects.

Rulide also interferes with certain lab tests connected with kidney functions, liver functions and blood cell counts. When you are going for such lab tests, inform the lab technician and your doctor about Ruilde medication.

You have to follow your doctor’s direction while taking Rulide. The drug should only be taken by those for whom it has been prescribed; do not share the drug with others.
